whether的用法归纳总结以及与if的区别
whether，英文单词，英音[ˈweðə(r)]，美音[ˈhwɛðɚ, ˈwɛð-]。可用作名词（n.）、代词（pron.）、连词（conj.），表达对于某件事情的不确定性，表示的怀疑。
一：作为名词 n.用法： 可能的选择
Whether all the whys and whethers of the matter.考虑事情的所有原因和可能作的选择。
二：作为代词 pron.用法：其中的哪一个
Whether of them is the worse? 他们其中的哪一个更坏？
三：作为连词 conj.用法
1. 是否：常用于ask,doubt,know,wonder等动词后（引导名词性从句）
Ask him whether he can come or not.问问他是否能来。
I don't know whether you like flowers, sir.先生,我不知道您是否喜欢花。
2.还是：表示有两个或更多可能的选择或怀疑
I can't make up my mind whether to go or not. 我无法决定去还是不去。
3. 无论是否；不论是不是；不管与否
whether...or not（与or not连用，固定搭配，引导状语从句）

注意事项：在引导状语从句时，一般情况下whether和if都可使用，但whether的适用范围要比if广，实在不知道应用什么的时候，选whether。
